One sailor rescued from the overturned fishing vessel Georyongho off the coast of Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do, is reported to be in a state of communication after being transferred to the hospital as the head of a Korean institution.



According to the Pohang Maritime Police Station, a diver who was searching the inside of the fishing boat at around 10:16 am today (21st) found a surviving sailor A and rescued him outside the fishing boat at around 10:23 am.



Mr. A was transported to Pohang Hospital by helicopter.



There was consciousness at the time of rescue, but communication was difficult due to hypothermia, etc., but it is known that communication is possible little by little while receiving hospital treatment.



Mr. A told the sea police, "I saw four out of six crew members wearing life jackets just before they were overturned."



He also tried to get out of the boat, but he couldn't get out.



The coast guard found a suspected missing sailor in the sea near the accident vessel at around 9:20 am before rescue A.



This man is currently unconscious and without pulse.
