At around 6:40 yesterday evening, a report was received that a 9.77-ton fishing vessel was sinking offshore near Gampo-eup, Gyeongju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do.



There were 6 crew members, including 2 Koreans, 3 Vietnamese, and 1 Korean-Chinese, but they have not been found yet.



The Coast Guard found a fishing boat that had been overturned at sea within two and a half hours while dropping flares into the area of ​​the accident and conducting a joint night-time search using naval vessels.



However, the coast guard has not yet confirmed whether there are crew members inside the fishing boat due to bad weather conditions.



They also searched around the fishing boat overnight, but revealed that they were having difficulty in rescue of the crew due to the high wave height.
