There was a dizzying accident where a large piece of wood that fell off a truck running on the highway almost hit a vehicle carrying his family.
According to the police, at around 1:51 pm on the 15th, a piece of wood, about 1 meter long, fell from the trailer loading compartment that was running on the 2nd lane of the Seohae Bridge 3 lane toward Mokpo on the Seohaean Expressway.
The pieces of wood flew into the SUV of Mr. A, which was traveling on the first lane slightly from behind, fell to the floor, struck the front bumper of the SUV, passed under the body, and then quickly bounced toward the third lane.
It is said that the trailer driver ran without realizing this.
Regarding the situation at the time, Mr. A said, "My wife and young daughter were riding together, and I was very surprised when the car was bumpy and stepping on falling objects. If it was a low-height car, it would almost lead to a bigger accident."
The highway patrol team of the Chungnam Police Agency is planning to identify the driver of the trailer and investigate whether or not there is a mistake in loading.
