▲ Parents who killed their two-week-old infant

A couple's attempts to conceal a crime by assaulting a two-week-old infant several times to death were stripped off in a police investigation.

Rather than hitting the child badly and taking him to the hospital, the couple searched for ``how to get rid of bruises quickly,'' and it turned out that they repeatedly made false statements and acting to police and firefighters.

According to the Jeonbuk Police Agency today (17th), the police analyzed the mobile phones of parents A (24, male) and B (22, female), who were arrested for murder, child abuse, serious injury, and assault, using a digital forensic technique.

The couple's browsing history of internet portal sites revealed during this process was shocking.

These couples searched for'how to get rid of bruises quickly' and'child torture' of their aunt in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do, on their mobile phones around 3 pm on the 9th, 8 hours before reporting to the 119 paramedic.

At the time of the search, it was found that the child was injured enough to not eat formula, vomit or open one of his eyes properly.

Even after the arrival of paramedics, the couple made false acting.

A child who had no breath and pulse due to repeated assault was given CPR and asked for help.

The medical staff, who autopsied the body, assumed the child was dead at this time.

The couple's lies have continued since then.

When asked about the cause of the child's death, he said, "I think I fell myself off the bed and got hurt."

After repeated accusations by the police who found bruises in several places, he admitted to the crime, saying, "I cried and vomited milk powder."

Police judged that the couple had repeatedly made false statements to hide the fact of child abuse, putting off charges of abuse of their daughter who was born before the child who died last year.

In addition to the assault, the police discovered neglected parenting situations during the investigation.

The child who died was not at the stage of malnutrition at the time of the autopsy, but was underweight, weighing less than his peers.

The police said, "I was definitely lighter than the number of days I was born."

It was found that the officetel where the couple lived did not have books on parenting.

It is common for families with children to have documents or books on how to raise children and how to deal with children when they are sick, but the couple's homes did not find these parts, police said.

In fact, it was revealed that the couple did not take any relief measures, such as applying drugs even after assaulting the child.

"I think there was an attempt by the couple to cover up the crime (to disguise as an accident)," said Park Song-hee, head of the Jeonbuk Police Agency's women and youth section. I threw it, and I confessed."

“The direct cause of the child is head injury and brain hemorrhage in the process of being thrown into the bed by the father.” It seems like there wasn't."
