The police report that the interior of the women's sauna in Grand Joseon Jeju, a 5-star hotel in Seogwipo City, Jeju, was seen from the outside, causing controversy.

According to the Seogwipo Police Station on the 16th, a report was filed on the afternoon of the 13th, saying, "The interior of the female sauna and toilet in the Grand Chosun Hotel Suite is visible from the outside, so users may be exposed."

The reporter was reported to have used the hotel suite's women's sauna and toilet on the 11th and 12th.

Upon receiving the report, the police are checking whether the inside of the sauna is exposed to the outside through hotel closed circuit (CC) TV, etc., and whether anyone has witnessed it when exposed.

Also, on a portal site yesterday, a post titled'I was exposed naked in a sauna at a 5-star hotel in Jeju' was posted.

The author of this article explained, "I stayed in a new five-star hotel suite in Jeju for two days on my honeymoon, and I used the private suite pool and shower facilities."

He said, "The glass windows of the hotel's sauna have a barrier coating, so you can't see the inside from the outside, and I thought you could enjoy a sauna while looking at the outside view from the inside."

The author claimed, "While taking a walk on the last day of my stay, I looked at the window on the side of the sauna and found that I could see the thermometer inside the sauna from the outside."

He added, "The hotel responded that the inside is not visible during the day and the blinds are lowered in the evening because it is coated with a glass barrier, but the blinds have never been lowered at the time I used to."

The author emphasized, "I paid more than 800,000 won per night, and I was convicted of taking a shower naked in front of others," he said. "The hotel did not announce this, so other users do not even know about the damage."

Grand Chosun Hotel Jeju said, "The new sauna is equipped with a glass barrier coating and blinds, so the blinds are flexibly operated according to the weather conditions and time of day." I explained.

The hotel side added, "We are checking CCTV through an investigation with the police, and it is confirmed that there was no damage that we were concerned about," and added, "We will work harder on meticulous on-site operation for customer safety and convenience in the future."
