Yesterday (13th) at around 4 pm, two workers from a cleaning company lost consciousness and collapsed at a plating company wastewater treatment facility in Seo-gu, Incheon.



A 49-year-old man, A, who was working to remove wastewater debris, was taken to the hospital after breathing toxic gas, but died this morning.



Worker B, who entered the wastewater container to rescue Mr. A, is also being treated at the hospital, but is currently unconscious.



As a result of analysis of the composition by the police, it was found that workers inhaled hydrogen sulfide, a toxic gas, above the standard value.



The police are investigating not only the exact details of the accident, but also whether there was a manager properly at the accident site and whether safety training was properly conducted, etc.
