In total, this former employee of ADT would have hacked the images of the surveillance cameras of more than 200 people.

He was particularly looking to spy on women or couples having sex.

To do this, "he took note of the houses where there were attractive women" before logging "on several occasions to the accounts of these clients in order to view their images for purposes of sexual gratification," the authorities explained.

The former employee of the company specializing in security had added his email address to the accounts of his customers in order to access their surveillance cameras in real time from his home.

He used these practices 9,600 times.

Some ADT customers have revealed that the company tried to "pay them for their silence" when the affair broke.

A client assured that the company had first offered her $ 2,500, which she refused.

The price was then increased to $ 50,000, reports
