The bank branch manager who made illegal loans of about 10 billion won to real estate developers, who are bad creditors, was sentenced to imprisonment.



The Ulsan District Law Criminal Division 11 (Deputy Judge Park Ju-young) sentenced the branch manager of Nonghyup Bank to A, who was handed over to trial for business misconduct and sentenced him to four years in prison and a fine of 54 million won, and for the requested real estate developer, B, to eight years in prison It was revealed on the 23rd.



Mr. A gave a loan of about 7.74 billion won 12 times, knowing that Mr. B, a bad creditor, applied for a real estate mortgage loan in the name of his daughter-in-law or acquaintance in 2018.



Mr. A has even loaned out more than its actual value without properly assessing the mortgage property value.



Mr. A also received a request from Mr. B and loaned about 2.27 billion won to Mr. B's acquaintances.



Mr. A received 26 million won, including cash, from Mr. B in exchange for such an illegal loan.



Separately, Mr. B was also prosecuted on charges of taking over 350 million won by tricking acquaintances to borrow the cost of purchasing real estate.



The judge said the reason for the sentence, saying, "The scale of the unfair loan is very large with 10 billion won, and the defendant does not admit the crime."
