President Moon Jae-in said earlier this morning at the Blue House that he was awarded a letter of appointment to Kim, saying, "For the airlift, neutrality from politics and independence from existing agencies are the most important."
He also said, "The prosecution and cooperation are very important."
"I think the prosecution's wrong investigation practices will change as well," Kim answered.
The Ministry of Airborne is a power-based organization dedicated to corruption that has both the power of investigation and prosecution, and it investigates corruption crimes of senior officials of the 3rd level or higher, including former and current presidents and members of the National Assembly, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, the Chief of the Constitutional Court, and the Prime Minister, and their families.
