Today (19th) around 9:17 am, a fire broke out on the 2nd floor of the Creation Hall of Seongdong Technical High School, Jung-gu, Seoul, and about 60 students and faculty members on the 3rd and 4th floors of this building evacuated.
According to the fire department, a big flame was caught in about an hour of reporting, and it was completely extinguished at around 11:44.
School was on vacation, so it was said that many students were not in school, and no one was injured.
The fire department believes the fire started in the warehouse next to the cargo lift.
An official at Seongdong Public High School said, "As soon as the fire alarm sounded, we broadcast an announcement and report it to 119."
The police and fire fighting will investigate the exact cause of the fire through joint identification.
