Park Kwang-il, known as the'one-stroke instructor' in the Korean language for college entrance exams, and the employees of the company founded by Park were arrested on charges of slandering competing instructors.



The Suwon District Prosecutor's Office said that Park and his employees were arrested on charges of defamation and obstruction, such as making hundreds of IDs for two years since July 2017 and posting comments slandering competitors and other instructors.



According to the prosecution, Park and others have even used a method of bypassing through a virtual private network in the Philippines to avoid IP tracking.



Previously, the police investigated Mr. Park and sent it to the prosecution with an opinion of non-prosecution.The prosecution requested an arrest warrant for Mr. Park on the 13th after a reinforcement investigation, and the court issued an arrest warrant saying there was fear of destruction of evidence and escape.



Park is known to have denied some charges, saying he did not direct the manipulation of comments.
