new quarantine measures, it is possible to eat coffee and desserts in cafe stores starting today.

It was only possible to take out orders, but now you can stay for up to an hour per guest.

Multi-use facilities such as karaoke rooms and gyms, which have been banned for over a month, are also reopening.

In the case of karaoke, rooms used by guests can be disinfected and reused after 30 minutes, and coin karaoke rooms must be used by only one person per room.

Gym showers are still unavailable, and vigorous group exercises such as Zumbana aerobics, which are highly susceptible to outbreaks, are also prohibited.

This is because concerns have been raised that the social distancing effect may decrease due to the ballooning effect in the area where business is permitted after 9pm.

The quarantine authorities said there was no prior consultation, but Daegu Mayor Kwon Young-jin said he was sorry for the confusion and heartache, but said he made the decision according to the government's procedures and guidelines.
