Two officials from the BTJ Center for the Nations were arrested by the police on charges of interfering with the epidemiological investigation.

The Daegu District Court issued a warrant of arrest in the interrogation of the suspects before their arrest, saying, "A major crime has been clarified, and there is a fear of destruction of evidence and escape."

They are accused of interfering with epidemiological investigations by failing to list 500 attendees at the BTJ Nations Center in Hwaseo-myeon, Sangju-si on November 27-28 last year.

Sangju asked for a list by December 4 of last year when participants from the BTJ Center for the Nations from all over the country were diagnosed with Corona 19, but the Center for the Nations submitted it late on the 17th of the same month.

For this reason, it is being criticized for making early quarantine difficult due to a large number of corona 19 confirmed cases in the metropolitan area and Daejeon.

The police plan to further investigate the BTJ Center for the Nations officials and expand the investigation to see if there was any interference with the systematic epidemiological investigation.
