A woman in her fifties who took a disposable plastic bag dropped in front of the trash bin is complaining of resentment, saying she was indicted for a fine of 700,000 won.

According to the Incheon District Prosecutors' Office and the Incheon Western Police Station, the prosecution recently briefly charged A (53) with a fine of 700,000 won for theft.

In July of last year, Mr. A is accused of stealing a plastic bag containing dog snacks worth 3,000 to 4,000 won at a mart in Bullo-dong, Seo-gu, Incheon.

The police first sent Mr. A to the prosecution on suspicion of embezzling possessions, and the prosecution changed the name of the crime to theft.

However, Mr. A insisted that he only reused the disposable plastic bag thrown in front of the trash can, and that he had never seen dog snacks in the bag.

He said, "I picked up the discarded bag in front of the trash can and brought it with the items I bought at the mart," he said. "I don't really understand how reusing a 50 won bag can be a theft."

On the 11th, Mr. A posted a petition on the Blue House National Petition Bulletin, entitled'I picked up a disposable plastic bag that fell in front of the trash can, recycled it, and was fined 700,000 won for theft.'

In response to the victim's report that someone stole the dog's snack, the police analyzed the card payment details and closed circuit (CC) TV video, identified Mr. A as a suspect, and sent it to the prosecution.

A police official said, "No matter how small the item is, if there is a report from the victim, you should investigate," he said. "There is nothing to say as it is a matter that the prosecution judged and ordered a summary."

An official at the prosecution said, "The goods found in the store are under the possession of the store manager, and taking them without permission is a crime of theft." I did".

Mr. A says he cannot accept the prosecution's summary order and plans to request a formal trial in the future.

Mr. A said, "The reporter said that there was a dog snack in the bag, but he has never seen it, and the place where he left it on the cart is different from the actual picked up location on the cart." Emphasized.
