The Meteorological Administration said that snow started in the west coast and gradually expanded to Seoul and southern Gyeonggi, due to the effect of the snow cloud that developed north and south in the west coast region.
The Meteorological Administration predicted that the central region may snow until night, and the southern region may also receive snow due to the influence of the pressure valley that advances southeast from the west sea.
Estimated snowfall is 1 to 3 cm in the metropolitan area and 1 to 5 cm in Yeongseo, Gangwon.
