Snow clouds created in the West Sea are spreading snow all over the inland as they move east.

Currently, heavy snow warnings have been issued in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and western Chungcheongnam-do.

Up to now, 2.1cm of snow fell in Seoul, 2.7cm in Incheon, and 5.5cm in Seosan, Chungnam.

Since the snow cloud moves at a high speed of 45 km/h, the snow will gradually weaken, and it is expected that all snow will stop at night.

It is expected that 1~5cm of snow will fall on the metropolitan area, Chungbuk, Gyeongbuk, Gyeongbuk mountains, and Ulleungdo until night.

In Chungnam and Jeollabuk-do, snow is expected to be up to 3cm, and in northern Jeollanam-do, snow is expected to be around 1cm.

The current temperature is 1.5 degrees below zero in Seoul and 0.8 degrees below zero in Gyeonggi Province, compared to the last heavy snowfall.

As of 4 p.m., the vehicle travel speed in Seoul is 14.4 km/h, and road congestion continues in most sections.

On the 6th, the city of Seoul, which was criticized for insufficient snow removal, said that today it has sprayed snow removal agents in steep slopes and vulnerable areas in advance, and has raised the current snow removal response stage to the second stage and has also introduced snow plows.

As traffic congestion is expected during work hours, the Seoul Metropolitan Government requested that you use public transportation as much as possible.
