It is specified that we are talking about a 47-year-old woman diagnosed with non-Hodgkin diffuse B-cell lymphoma stage IV B (malignant neoplasm).

She contracted coronavirus while undergoing chemotherapy in April.

Since then, she has undergone multiple PCR tests, and it showed positive results until September 9th.

Konstantin Krutovsky, Professor of the Department of Genomics and Bioinformatics of the Siberian Federal University, Professor of the University of Göttingen (Germany), noted that "in this Russian work it was convincingly shown for the first time that the acquisition of a large number of mutations is the result of a long stay of SARS-CoV-2 in one organism."
