“In order to form ballistic conditions before landing of the Soyuz MS-17 manned transport spacecraft and the launch and docking of the Soyuz MS-18 TPK, the next correction of the International Space Station's orbit is scheduled for January 21,” TASS reports.

According to the company, it is planned that as a result, the average altitude of the station's orbit should increase by about 1.2 km and will be 419.77 km above the Earth's surface.

Earlier it was reported that the American cargo ship Dragon undocked from the International Space Station (ISS) on January 12.
