The Korea Electric Power Corporation said that the power supply to the apartment seems to have stopped in the aftermath of a problem with the electrical equipment of the church near the apartment.
In addition, at about 4:20 pm yesterday, a fire broke out in a manhole in front of a gas station in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and about 50 households, including offices in Samseong-dong, were cut off.
