Everyone, it's Tuesday when it's uncomfortable to have ears because of snow.

Today (12th) 8 o'clock news will be delivered from the results of the humidifier disinfectant case trial, which can actually be far more than 7,000 victims reported to the government.

Former representatives of the humidifier disinfectant company were acquitted by the first trial court today.

This is exactly the opposite of what Oxy and the heads of the humidifier disinfectant manufacturer and seller who were previously handed over to trial were convicted.

The judiciary said that it may be difficult to prove the product's harmfulness with evidence so far, although it may be possible if more research results come out.

'Humidifier Mate', one of the domestic humidifier disinfectants, has been manufactured and sold by SK Chemicals and Aekyung Industrial for 10 years since 2002.

However, as victims of humidifier disinfectant appeared one after another, the prosecution turned over 34 former and current employees of these companies to trial after a re-investigation last year.

The accusation of failing to properly verify the safety of disinfectants made from ingredients such as CMIT and MIT, which are harmful to humans, was applied, based on the comprehensive report of the Ministry of Environment.

The judgment of the Seoul Central District Court, which conducted the trial for one year and six months, was different.

CMIT and MIT pleaded not guilty to all defendants, saying it was difficult to say that it was proved that they caused lung disease or asthma.

The Ministry of Environment's comprehensive report, which was presented by the prosecution as grounds for harmfulness, also stated that it was an opinion that failed to prove causal relationship.

CMIT and MIT, which are included in the products of these companies, are different ingredients from PHMG and PGH, which are ingredients for humidifier disinfectants such as Oxy, Lotte Mart, and Homeplus, which have already been convicted.

The judiciary said, "I have a complicated feeling," and said that it was unusually small, but added that "we had to judge based on evidence."

Prosecutors protested the sentence and said they would appeal immediately.
