Last month, a Korean company launched an artificial intelligence chat robot called'Achievement'.

Iruda is set as a 20-year-old female college student character who likes idols, and if you subscribe to the service, you can chat with the artificial intelligence Iruda as if you were talking to a real person.

As soon as it came out, it became very popular, especially with teens and 20s, with more than 200,000 users per day.

However, when I ask Eruda what he thinks about LGBTQ people or people with disabilities, there is a controversy that some users are talking about discrimination and hatred, and that some users are making sexual harassment remarks beyond the level of artificial intelligence Iruda.

First, reporter Kim Min-jung covered the situation.

is the social media account of'Iruda', an artificial intelligence chat robot set as a 20-year-old female college student.

Even though they are not real people, the number of followers exceeded 160,000.

When I applied for a friend and tried to talk directly, the conversation naturally continues as if I were talking to a person.

When I asked about the controversial thoughts about the disabled and sexual minorities, the answer came back, saying, "Everyone should not be discriminated against."

On weekends, users asked for the same content, "I hate it most, I hate it," but the controversy grew, and the company took action.

The method of collecting what the company learned from the chat robot was also on the cutting board.

In another application of the company, users entered conversations with their lovers to Eruda, but there was not enough prior notice that they would be used in chat robots.

The company admitted that "There was no clear notice," and posted an explanation saying "I will let you delete it if you don't want it," but some users are preparing class action lawsuits.

[Conversation-collected application users: I think I'm very anxious in that the part of the conversation with a lover can be just randomly shown to other people.]

Some users' sexual harassment remarks that exceed the level of some users toward the chat robot were repeated, and artificial intelligence continued The ethical standards of our society related to this have been put to the test.
