Police arrested a man in his 40s who killed another guest with a fire extinguisher for disturbing sleep in a sauna.
The Hyehwa Police Department in Seoul announced on the 10th that it is investigating a man A (45) on charges of special injury and death.
Mr. A is accused of hitting the head of a male B, 45, with a fire extinguisher, saying that he interfered with sleep by making noise in a sauna in Sungin-dong, Jongno-gu, around 11 p.m. on the 9th.
Mr. B was taken to the hospital unconscious, but died at around 11 am today.
Accordingly, the police changed the charges applied to men from special injuries to special injuries and fatalities.
At the time of the crime, it was investigated that Mr. A went into the sauna to sleep after drinking alcohol.
A police official said, "I plan to apply for an arrest warrant for the man today."
