A woman who claimed to have been raped by actor Cho Jae-hyun lost the first trial of a lawsuit for damages against Cho.
The 17th Division of the Civil Agreement of the Seoul Central District Court ruled that the plaintiff lost a lawsuit for damages filed by Mr. A against Mr. Jo.
According to the legal profession, Mr. A filed a lawsuit in 2018 claiming damages of 300 million won, saying, "I was sexually assaulted by Jo in 2004 when I was 17 years old."
The court later decided to compulsory mediation, but Mr. A filed an objection and held a formal trial.
