CES in Las Vegas, the big tech show, will take place remotely this year

Due to the global Covid-19 pandemic, the CES, (Consumer Electronics Show) world consumer electronics show, will be held this year remotely, still from Las Vegas, from January 11 to 14.

This major international event which attracts thousands of start-ups, companies and visitors from all over the world cannot physically accommodate them.

This 54th edition will be held in a 100% digital format.

The organizers of the annual tech high mass hope that it will remain the unmissable event for innovators and investors.

No physical interactions with robots this year, as was the case in

previous editions

Participants and visitors will communicate with the tech world, via their screens.

In order to maintain the exchanges, the interventions of the big names in tech, as well as the round tables are maintained and will be diffused live.

Animators will accompany virtual visitors in real time throughout their journey to enable them to participate in the events. 

Due to the pandemic, this 54th edition will obviously be special, starting with a drop in the number of exhibitors: around 1,700 compared to 4,000 last year.

The 2021 edition will be dominated by the health crisis.

Creators have adapted to the new practices imposed by constraints.

The organizers of the show are announcing more technological innovations in the fields of health, education but also in the new organization of work or in the support and the fight against the isolation of the elderly. 

The health crisis has accelerated the use of new technologies, making them now essential for many industries.

This edition of the world electronics fair in virtual format will attempt to demonstrate that these innovations can help improve our lives.
