Today (4th) 8 o'clock news is from Jung In, who died because of bad adults, so everyone is sick and sorry.

In order to find out the exact cause of the death of Jeong In, who died 16 months after birth, the police asked three experts to reappraise.

This is to clarify why and how Jeong In, who had been in pain that even adults could not bear, died.

The results of the reassessment are known to be coming soon, and it is likely to determine whether homicide can be applied to adoptive parents.

First, reporter Son Hyung-an delivers the breaking news of the prosecution's investigation.

<Reporter> On the

8th of last month, Jung In, who was handed over to the trial under arrest, applied the charges against Yangmo A, a child abuse death.

[Jeong-in-yi Yangmo A-san: (Aren’t you sorry for the child?)…

.

(Why did you abuse?)…

.] As a

result of the first autopsy, Jung-in's organs were severely damaged by Mr. A's long-term abuse, and this resulted in death.

Ms. B, her adoptive husband, is also accused of knowing all of these facts without any restraint.

The first trial for them will be held on the 13th at the Southern District Court in Seoul.

However, it was confirmed that the prosecution ahead of the trial initiated a reassessment on the cause of death in mid last month.

Three professional autopsy workers were asked to re-examine the cause of death.

Autopsy doctors are also intensively checking this area, and the results are expected to come out within this week at the latest.

It is interpreted that the prosecution intends to change the complaint by replacing the suspicion of adoptive parents with unwritten and deliberate murder instead of child abuse and lethality.

An official at the prosecution said that it is important to determine the exact substance of the case as it is a serious and anti-human affair.

The Supreme Court's sentencing standards stipulate that a sentence of 4 to 7 years in prison for child abuse and fatality, and 10 to 16 years in prison for murder.
