the 5th total investigation of the detainees of the Seoul East Detention Center, 121 additional people were confirmed.
As a result, the number of confirmed cases related to the Eastern Detention Center in Seoul increased to 1,084, including inmates, employees, and families.
On November 27, last year, it was only one month after the first confirmed cases, and the cumulative number of confirmed cases exceeded 1,000, which is the third time after last year's group infection at Shincheonji and Sarangjeil Church.
The number of confirmed cases related to correctional facilities nationwide increased to 1,108, with four additional confirmed cases in the northern prison in Gangwon, where the confirmed cases at the Eastern Detention Center were transferred.
It was also investigated that 9 out of 121 additional confirmed patients attended the Eastern District Law between the 7th and 18th of last month.
The quarantine authorities also caught an emergency with the number of confirmed cases in every thorough investigation.
The quarantine authorities designate Dongbu Detention Center as a life treatment center, and asymptomatic and mild cases are monitored by medical staff in the center.
In addition, it said that the confirmed cases staying outside the detention center due to bail permits or suspension of executions are considering a plan to transfer them to another living treatment center.
