Videos from TikTok and Instagram may soon be visible from Google's mobile app.

By doing a simple search on an American football team, journalists from the tech media have indeed seen a new carousel appear at the top of the search results.

This one contained only short videos from TikTok and Instagram.

The new functionality would therefore be in the testing phase and available only to certain users.

By clicking on the video, the user is not redirected to the application of the social network in question but to its mobile web version.

This would be a new technique on the part of Google to retain users longer on its application.

If the feature passes the test and is integrated by the Google teams into the application, other short format videos could appear in this carousel.
