A man in his 80s who entered the country on the 13th was tested positive for Corona 19 after he died of a heart attack the morning of the day.



Subsequently, the quarantine authorities examined Mr. A's family, and three additional people were confirmed.



They arrived from England on the 8th and 13th of last month, which were negative at the time.



The quarantine authorities have secured a specimen of Mr. A, who died, and are scrutinizing the presence of a mutant virus from the UK.

additional 35 people were confirmed at a welfare facility for the disabled in Songpa-gu.



Since last Christmas, a social worker working here was first confirmed, 40 people have been infected so far.



About 100 people with severe disabilities live in the facility for 24 hours, making them vulnerable to group infection.



Seven inmates and one employee were also confirmed at the Seoul East Detention Center.



The cumulative number of confirmed cases related to the Dongbu detention center is 528 so far, the fourth largest among group infection cases.



The quarantine authorities inspected 6,000 people, including inmates and workers.
