In Korea, there have been confirmed cases of a mutant virus originating from the UK, and the quarantine authorities are conducting additional investigations and tests.

Today (28th), Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Chung Eun-kyung said at a briefing by the Central Defense Response Headquarters, "We confirmed the British mutant virus in three samples who arrived in Korea on December 22nd."

All four of them were confirmed as Korean families living in London, England, and the mutant virus was confirmed from three.

"Because it was moved directly from the airport to the quarantine facility, exposure to the community would have been minimized," said Chung.

He added, "In the case of overseas entrants who are traveling with us, they are managed within the basic quarantine and quarantine system, but additional investigations and inspections are underway for the crew."

Let’s watch the video together.
