In the United States, an auction around historic Apple objects was organized last week.
Fans of the apple brand have snatched a dozen treasures that have marked the company, sometimes at a price of gold, reports
Numerama on
Tuesday.
The most notable piece of this sale was a “mint condition” Apple-1 computer with its original box autographed by Steve Wozniak, one of the firm's co-founders.
There was a "cassette interface", a manual, a floppy disk drive, and a keyboard embedded in wood.
This computer is the first product sold by Apple in 1976. It was manufactured in 200 copies and only 175 were sold.
It is therefore an extremely rare object.
Especially since the one that sold for $ 736,862 in this auction is still working!
Multicolored glasses sold for 19,000 dollars
Among the other items in the sale, technical drawings by Steve Wozniak of the Apple-2 were sold for a staggering sum of $ 630,272.
At the same time, one of the first computer mice sold for $ 34,000.
Finally, other objects, such as Steve Jobs' business card ($ 4,800), signed floppy disks ($ 302) or multicolored glasses with lenses in the shape of the Apple logo ($ 19,000) were also acquired by collectors.
