Some wards were quarantined for the first time as a confirmed person came out of Jeju National University Hospital, which operates an inpatient treatment bed designated by the state.

Authorities believe that inpatients were infected after meeting someone they knew without violating the visitation ban.

Some wards of Jeju National University Hospital, which are nationally designated inpatient treatment beds, have been quarantined in cohorts and groups.

This is because two inpatients have been confirmed.

This is the mother A who was hospitalized for childbirth during self-isolation and the orthopedic hospital patient B.

Mr. A gave birth under quarantine control and had no contact, but Mr. B was the problem.

Jeju Self-Governing Province believes that the infection occurred when Mr. B met an acquaintance who went to a live cafe outside the building after being banned from visiting.

Jeju National University Hospital cohorted the entire 6th floor ward where Mr. B was hospitalized.

The 48 patients and medical staff in the ward decided to watch the progress for 14 days.

However, 205 people received an emergency thorough investigation, but no additional confirmed cases were found.

[Heo Sang-taek/Jeju National University Hospital Infection Control Dept.: There is also a limited number of beds and manpower is never supported.

It must be resolved within a limited number of people.

It was fortunate that there were no critically ill patients so far, but if there is a critically ill, Jeju can go into a very dangerous situation...

Jeju's quarantine system is shaking as the group infection continues in Jeju, where there are only 18 doctors specializing in corona response and even confirmed patients in hospitals have occurred.
