While waiting for the Corona 19 test result, a mother who did not receive emergency surgery in time has still given birth to her child.

On the 7th, a 30-year-old mother A, who lives in Gyeonggi Province, started bleeding before giving birth, but was unable to enter the emergency room and waited for her, but Yonhap News reported today (21st).

Mr. A, who visited the outpatient clinic on the 7th day, was admitted to the hospital that day and was invited to a doctor to schedule a delivery date.

And, according to the hospital's instructions to arrive before 7 pm and go through hospitalization procedures, I got tested for Corona 19 around 2:30 pm and returned home.

The test results usually come in six hours later, so I was planning to take my other children home and return to the hospital.

However, A, who was prepared to go to the hospital from his home, suddenly started bleeding around 6 pm.

It was later confirmed that emergency surgery was necessary due to'placental detachment' where the placenta fell before childbirth, but it is known that A and the hospital were not aware of this situation at the time.

Mr. A arrived at the hospital at about 7 o'clock in an ambulance, but the Corona 19 test result was not available, so he could not enter the emergency room immediately and had to wait about an hour.

The hospital, who could not predict the unexpected situation, prepared a place for A surgery and performed emergency surgery belatedly, but the child came out dead at about 9:10 pm.

It was 9:30 after that that Mr. A received the final negative result of Corona 19.

Mr. A said, "In an emergency, there would have been a golden time, but I bleed outside the hospital and waited for a long time," he said.

A hospital official said, "I tested for Corona 19 according to the guidelines of the health authorities, but the results came out later than on the other day. Because the surgery was not scheduled on this day, it took about 50 minutes to secure a place and prepare."

He said, "Premature placental detachment is often not confirmed in advance, and even on this day, a sudden deterioration of the condition was unpredictable. We tried our best to operate, but the baby died."
