[SBS Special] I Live: Park Wii's Filter View ②

Park's father, Park Chan-hong, resented herself for the tragedy of her son.

In the SBS special broadcast on the 20th, under the subtitle'I Live: Park Wii's Wheel Tour', the young man Park Wii who turned the moment of despair into another starting point in life was illuminated.

Six years ago, Park Wii was paralyzed by an accident. In response, he recalled, "I opened my eyes, but I can't remember. I didn't know when or where it was. I was surrounded by hospital equipment, and it seemed like I had my body, but I didn't have my body. My body had no sense at all."

And his father loved his son, who was strong and positive from his childhood, and he wanted to be with him for a long time. His father said, "I was dressed well. I told my son with a bright expression and said what he shouldn't do, but it became reality the next day," and he was still regretting the words he gave to his son the day before the accident.

However, no matter how much I blamed myself, nothing changed. Park Wii lost consciousness in an accident, and a cervical spine fracture caused nerve damage. He was offered a full-time job at a company where he worked as an intern, and he had an accident while going to a celebration party with his friends.

In response, Park Wie said, "Just really, life was released with the feeling that the cogs were engaged. Every day was so good and fun." And that day, after drinking alcohol, he suffered a fall, broke his neck, and injured his spine. It was a moment of despair in the middle of his 28-year-old youth.

"At first, all life was impossible without someone's help. At first, I was very sorry to return like a child when I turned 30."

And he said, "I became a grandfather later on, but what if I become alone without my family? I was worried and so sad. So I kept crying for an hour. I couldn't even hear my brother and cried."

It was his younger brother who helped him in his difficult hospital life.

His younger brother took care of his older brother on a leave of absence six years ago.

In response, Park Wie expressed gratitude to the younger brother who took care of himself more than anyone else, saying, "My younger brother tried all experiments on his body if there was anything to care for me.

Recently, when Park Wii was exercising, my younger brother was with me.

He looked carefully to help him get the right posture.

Even after the rehabilitation treatment, Park Wie is still eager to exercise.

This was because of her situation, where she had to rely on her arm muscles for most of her actions.

"I was convinced that I would get better even if I became paralyzed, and I was firmly determined to live independently. I rehabilitated like crazy. I made my own money, made a family, and lived with the confidence that I would do it myself."

And in fact, he did not give up on anything and tried, a little slow, but he was doing so many things on his own, increasing what he could do on his own.

In response, Park Wie said, "If I hadn't made progress compared to my efforts, it would have been a lot harder. It was very slow, but I was really happy to see myself getting better little by little."

And beside him, there were friends who volunteered to be his arms and legs.

They said, "It gives us positive energy. The stomach isn't a sick or handicapped friend," he said. "How is this? Is it mental? Is it your own belief? What is this? How can you be so bright? did.

Park Wie said that the hope of being able to walk on his own became the driving force in his life, and with it, he lifted the limits of his thoughts and made his life richer.

In response, his father said, "I am so proud that my child whips himself forward with that will and unchanging hope. But I still can't see my son struggling when he climbs somewhere." He said yes, but not as a parent. The stomach should rise," he expressed his sympathy.

He also said, "I believe the stomach will definitely happen. It's just a matter of time. And that time may come soon." He said, "Then how good it would be" and dreamed of a happy moment someday.

After practicing tens of thousands of times, Park has been able to go out alone without any help from anyone, riding in a wheelchair by himself, transferring to a car, removing the wheelchair and loading it into the car.

And he captured what he had done in video and shared it for people in similar situations.

In response, Park Wie emphasized that his challenge was not just for himself, saying, "The purpose of creating this channel is to save people."

And in fact, his video delivered courage and hope to many people beyond emotion.

A subscriber who watched his video said, "I was going to end my life by myself, but after watching Park Wii's channel, I decided to live again."

Accordingly, Park Wii decided to conduct an interview with people who he could give comfort and support to.

And the reaction to this was hot.

As many as 570 e-mails arrived, and Park Wii decided to conduct interviews with some of them.

Name it filter view.

The first protagonist was Roh Hye-yeon, a former flight attendant who lost his job due to Corona 19.

He said he had a hard time with a loss of self-esteem because of this, and asked Park Wi for some prickly advice for himself.

In response, Park Wie said, "The situation that is happening is irresistible. It is not because of my mistakes or faults."

In addition, he said, "Honestly, from my point of view, I envy people walking and raising both hands at the same time," he said. "In a trivial everyday life, I have a lot of things to think about, but Hye-yeon has a lot of things."

Then Noh Hye-yeon said, "In fact, my big worries in my life were not a big worries for someone, but I was cautious," and said to Park Wie that his worries might be insignificant.

In response, Park Wie emphasized that no worries are small worries, saying, "I wanted to tell you that what I have is not a small worry."

Next, Park Wii visited a rehabilitation hospital in Ulsan to meet the second protagonist.

And here, he met Kim Yoo-hyun, who was paralyzed in a fall accident like himself.

Two wheelchairs facing each other.

The two praised each other.

And Kim Yoo-hyun said, "I was injured and frustrated a lot, but I got to know Wie and I thought that I could do it, and I gained great strength."

In addition, he said, "My dream has been a car racer since ancient times. From the moment I was in an accident, my dream had collapsed. I thought I would not be able to do what I wanted to do in the future, but while watching Park Wi-nim's video, I thought I could drive and go anywhere." Said.

Accordingly, Yoohyun is now driving alone and is free to go out.

Kim Yoo-hyun said, "Now I dream of a new life. I wonder what I would have been doing without a person like Park Wi-nim, but maybe I was lying in the hospital or I may not be in this world right now."

Park Wi, who met Yoohyun, said, "The biggest purpose of my channel is to save people, but I really wanted to see if there was someone who was helped by this," he said. "But seeing Yoohyun is so proud. It’s cold,” he expressed his overwhelming heart.

The protagonist of the third filter view was Park Se-hyun, a college student whose spinal cord was damaged in a fall accident, similar to Park Wi-Hyun and Kim Yoo-hyun.

He doesn't have a hard expression and even looks embarrassed, and he honestly said that he hides his heart a lot because he thinks of his parents who are actually suffering because of him.

In response, Park Wie advised, "There shouldn't be an obsession to be positive. It can be harder if I come with an obsession that I have to be positive. It can be harder to express myself when it's hard."

And he encouraged him, "It's a very good example when it comes to a damaged level of the spinal nerve. You can do everything even if it doesn't get better anymore. There's nothing worse. There's nothing left to do," he encouraged.

On this day, the production team prepared a surprise meeting for the last filter view.

Before meeting with the protagonist of the interview, the production crew released a video of Park Wi's acquaintances talking about him.

His friends praised Park Wi, saying, "It's sharing Lee Chon-dong," and saying, "I'm not good at studying, I'm not good at sports, I'm handsome, I'm tall. I'm a man of all people. I don't have any shortcomings, so I have no luck."

Then, his father, Park Chan-hong, opened his mouth to his son Park Wi.

He said, "Our stomach is a delightful child. The space he goes to brightens. When he goes, the negative things slowly disappear. Oddly. He's a really good kid after leaving his child. I did".

He then said, "I thought that way just before the accident," and said, "Let's not marry, live with me for a long time. Then, I spent it, and I really appeared the next day with a body that seems to live with me for that long."

His father said, "Why did I say that? I regretted why I said that saying that the word became a seed," he said, confessing what he had never told his son.

Park Wii also shed tears.

The sadness of his father, who was always strong without even saying sorry, was passed on to Park Wie as it was.

Park's father said, "I learned through the stomach that one's own hope and will are important to a person. Yu doesn't even talk about overcoming. He lives. The stomach will definitely happen. It's just a matter of time. Soon It may shut up,” said hope.

In addition, he said, "I want to walk the pilgrimage route in Santiago someday. It would be nice if such a day would come. I would like to walk together even if I go with a cane. It would be nice if I could walk that way together."

And after a while, his father appeared before his son.

His father first asked his son if he was really okay.

In response, Park Wie said honestly, "From my point of view, I have been living with a feeling of regret because I felt like I was a burden to my family.

Then the father said no, and asked his son not to have that kind of heart.

"I'm really happy. I'm uncomfortable, but this discomfort doesn't affect my life in any way," said Park Wie.

And he said, "I think I can make you happier. I'm confident. I hope you can trust me a little more. We can go on the Santiago pilgrimage together."

Those who met Park Wii through the filter view could be a miracle in someone else's life.

In addition, Park Wii will move forward vigorously today by rolling two wheels so that many people can have hope in the long journey of life so that they can remember each other and live together in the moment of trial.
