The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that it has decided to criminally prosecute 35 people, including business owners and users, who were caught violating the quarantine rules in an emergency joint crackdown at night with the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency and autonomous districts.



As a result of intensive crackdowns on 60 businesses suspected of violating the quarantine guidelines in a total of six locations, including Yeongdeungpo and Hongik University, where entertainment bars are concentrated from 8 pm to midnight on the 18th, two entertainment bars , 1 general restaurant, and 1 billiard room, a total of 4 were found violating the quarantine regulations.



Although two entertainment bars in Yeongdeungpo-gu, such as'○○ Song' and'○○ Song Bar,' are banned from gathering, a total of 23 people were drinking alcohol in four internal rooms, and were caught as current criminals.



Among these were five female assistants.




In particular, these establishments had secret passages connected to the basement of the building, closed the main entrance with the prohibition of gathering, and allowed customers to enter through the rear door.



'○○Fly ○Port', near Hongik University Station in Mapo-gu, is a general restaurant, and although only orders delivery is allowed after 9pm, it was caught opening the door around 10pm.



The business owner insisted that his friends were present and that they were having food delivered from another restaurant.



The billiard room located in Seongbuk-gu, where a 24-hour group ban was issued, was closed while access was not possible.



The police are planning to bring criminal charges against the business owners and users caught this time for violating the law on the prevention and management of infectious diseases.



If they are prosecuted, they face fines of up to 3 million won.
