Yesterday, 1,97 new cases of Corona 19 were confirmed one day.
It has crossed the 1,000 mark for five consecutive days.
Even though the number of tests on weekends decreased by nearly 20,000 from weekdays, it was the highest ever recorded by breaking 1,78, the highest so far, in four days.
Excluding 25 confirmed overseas inflows, 1,72 cases were domestic.
By region, 776 people were confirmed in the metropolitan area, including 470 people in Seoul, 244 people in Gyeonggi, and 62 people in Incheon.
In the last week, the average number of new confirmed cases per day was 986.3, and the number of confirmed cases in Korea reached an average of 959.3 per day, meeting an average of 800 or more per day, which is the 3rd stage upgrade requirement.
Yesterday, 99 infected people were confirmed in an anonymous test through a temporary screening test in the metropolitan area.
The cumulative number of confirmed cases reached 385 from the 14th when the preemptive examination began.
The number of seriously ill patients increased by 3 from the previous day to 278, and the number of deaths increased by 15 to 674.
In Seoul, a patient in her 60s who was diagnosed and was in quarantine at home died again.
