A dozen suspects were arrested this Wednesday by the Parisian police, after a series of thefts in meetings in luxury brands.

Aged 17 to 18, most of them lived in the 20th arrondissement.

In the space of two months, this gang of suspects would have committed six attacks, following the same modus operandi: playing on their numbers, the thieves entered the stores and served themselves directly on the shelves before leaving without paying, as shown. the video of their latest mischief.

The first theft dates back to October 3 in a Moncler store on rue des archives.

The thieves had seized 15,000 euros of merchandise.

The following Saturday, it was in a Prada store that they entered to steal handbags.

Same scenario, Saturday, October 17 in another Moncler boutique, boulevard Saint-Germain.

That day, ten criminals broke in and stole 27,000 euros in down jackets and other t-shirts.

Subsequently, these same thieves would have robbed the same Prada store twice, rue de Grenelle, on October 28 and November 18.

The video of their latest raid was posted on social networks: last Friday, they entered a Moncler store already robbed two months earlier, taking jackets, glasses ... Forty items in total for a value close to 50,000 euros.

Suspects identified through cameras and social networks

From the multiple video surveillance recordings and a lot of cross-checking, the police of the 5th and 6th arrondissement managed to identify a dozen suspects, some of whom would have participated in several of these spectacular thefts.

This Wednesday, nine young men aged 17 to 18 were arrested and placed in police custody, a tenth spontaneously presented to the police in the morning.

Most of these suspects live in the same district of the 20th arrondissement of the capital.

Some of them were also identified via their profile on social networks where they did not hesitate to pose for photos with stolen articles.

Searches were carried out to try to find part of the loot which amounts to nearly 150,000 euros of stolen items.
