The Prosecutors' Disciplinary Committee of the Ministry of Justice rejected an application for refusal from Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yul against the official representative of the disciplinary committee Chairman Jeong Han-jung and the anti-corruption chief Shin Sung-sik.

It is known that President Yoon's side filed an application for evasion against Deputy Chief Jung and General Manager Shin at the second interrogation of the Disciplinary Committee held today (15th) morning.

However, the disciplinary committee rejected the request from Yoon.

The reason for the dismissal was not known to be specifically disclosed.

Yoon's side asked the disciplinary committee to fill in seven disciplinary members according to the provisions of the Prosecutor's Disciplinary Act, but it is known that the disciplinary committee rejected it.

At the same time, the disciplinary committee withdrew from the witnesses Shim Jae-cheol, the prosecutor's office chief of the Ministry of Justice, who had been adopted ex officio during the first meeting.

President Yoon's side has asked Director Shim to be able to interrogate witnesses, saying he has something to ask directly.

Earlier, in the morning deliberation, witness interrogation was conducted with Sohn Joon-seong, the chief prosecutor's office.

In charge of Sohn is the head of the Investigation Information Policy Office, who prepared the information collection document for the judges who were suspicious of the so-called'judge's inspection' at the order of President Yoon earlier this year.

It is known that during the witness interrogation process, President Yoon's special counsel team also participates in questioning and receiving answers directly to the witnesses.

The disciplinary committee deliberated for about two hours and then retired at around 12:30 noon.

At the hearing, which resumed at 2 pm, it was reported that the rest of the Witnesses were planned to be interrogated.
