The Prosecutor's Disciplinary Committee against the Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol resumed the afternoon meeting and entered into full-scale witness interrogation.

The disciplinary committee resumed the deliberation at 2 pm today (15th) and is interrogating the witnesses requested by President Yun.

In the morning deliberation, the interrogation was completed for Sohn Jun-seong, the chief prosecutor's office.

In charge of Sohn is the head of the Investigation Information Policy Office, who prepared the information collection document for the judges who were suspicious of the so-called'judge's inspection' at the order of President Yoon earlier this year.

In the witness interrogation process, President Yoon's special counsel team also participates in questioning and receiving answers to witnesses.

The remaining witnesses on the part of President Yoon are four: Dong-soo Han, the prosecutor of the Supreme Prosecutors' Office, Ryu Hyeok, the prosecutor of the Justice Department, Park Young-jin, the Ulsan District Prosecutor's Office, and Lee Jeong-hwa, the Daejeon District Prosecutor's Office.

During the first deliberation, the disciplinary committee adopted Shim Jae-cheol, the prosecutor's office chief of the Ministry of Justice, as a witness and withdrawn.

General Yoon's side has asked the disciplinary committee to allow witness interrogation, saying that there is something to be confirmed with Director Shim.

After all deliberations, including witness interrogation, the disciplinary committee leaves President Yun's side and discusses the disciplinary status and the level of disciplinary action before deciding.

In the legal community, there are many predictions that the disciplinary committee is highly likely to admit the charges against President Yoon and to vote for severe disciplinary action such as dismissal, dismissal, or suspension.

In the first place, the possibility of dismissal was predicted to be the highest, but there are also observations recently that the disciplinary committee will be conscious of public opinion and will actually dismiss the dismissal effect.

As President Yun is in office until July next year, if he is suspended for up to six months, he will be unable to perform his duties properly.
