Since the interview that the President of the Republic gave to the online media "Brut", in which he mentions in particular facies checks and police violence, on December 4, the police have been angry.

Demonstrations and actions are increasing.

On Monday, more than 130 Grenoble officials moved up a gear by starting steps to resign.

The daily anger of the police has invaded the streets in France.

Operations were carried out in Paris, Montpellier, Reims, Alibi, Toulouse.

In Nantes, the police gathered with the service cars, despite reminders and threats from the hierarchy.

Slowdowns on the roads to distribute sweets in Marseille or even in Dijon have also taken place.

The music of the care bears also sounded during a pseudo-control of motorists, without any verbalizations.

For ten days, they have been demonstrating all over the country.

They thus filed a request for conventional termination, the first step in leaving the police.

According to Yannick Biancheri, Alliance delegate in Isère, "they make a first report to show how much the administration is ready to give them if they would leave the police station to retrain".

"They are at their end"

"The colleagues can no longer take it, they are at the end of the line, breathes Yannick Biancheri, the police have always been there to protect the population. For the demonstrations, the attacks, the Covid, we have always relied on the police. On the other hand, there is a police intervention every second, we take one out of its context and redo the entire police trial in general ".

And he adds, confirming that Emmanuel Macron's words went wrong: "The fact that the police do face checks, that the police are violent, are inadmissible remarks".

The departmental direction of public security (DDSP) of Isère, confirmed to AFP that the hierarchy had been "informed" but that the requests for conventional breaks would be directly filed with the prefecture.
