The police's cell phone seizure and search warrant was dismissed by the court again to investigate the suspicion that the secretary's office assisted the sexual harassment of former Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon.



The Seoul Police Agency said, "The second application for a seizure and search warrant for the mobile phone of Mayor Park, who was dismissed from a quasi-appeal on the 11th, was dismissed yesterday (14th) for the investigation of sexual harassment aid."



According to the police, the courts heard the reason for dismissing'there is a lack of clarification of the connection to the confiscated object.'



Previously, the police issued a seizure and search warrant for the business cell phones of the Seoul City Hall and former Mayor Park in order to investigate the case accused by the YouTube channel'Landscape Research Institute', saying that the Seoul secretary's office, etc., tolerated and assisted the sexual harassment of Mayor Park in July I applied.



However, the court dismissed it, saying, "There is a lack of clarification on the accusations of the crimes of the suspects, the relationship between the alleged crimes and the items to be seized."



When the second warrant was also dismissed, the police explained, "In relation to the sexual harassment aid accusation, we have investigated more than 20 reference persons and 5 accused persons," and said, "I applied for a warrant to confirm the authenticity of the statement."



The mobile phone is a valuable item found along with Mayor Park's body, and the police keep it in the forensic-related department of the National Police Agency for investigation of death.



Mayor Park's bereaved family filed a quasi-appeal demanding the forensic stop, and the court dismissed the quasi-appeal on the 9th of this month.



Accordingly, the police are coordinating the visitation schedule with the bereaved side.



The police said, "The forensic work to find out the history of Mayor Park's death will continue on schedule."
