It is expected that the court will conclude on the 15th as soon as possible on a special request from the prosecution to ban late going out and drinking alcohol to elementary school student abduction and rape criminal Cho Doo-soon.

The Suwon District Law Ansan Branch announced today (11th) that the Suwon District Prosecutor's Office is reviewing whether to apply the special compliance requirements requested by the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office on Cho Doo-soon.

The special compliance requirements contain restrictions on Doo-soon Cho going out from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. the next day, and prohibiting drinking and access to educational facilities such as schools during peacetime.

Article 9, Paragraph 2 of the Electronic Device Attachment Act stipulates that if the court issues an order to attach, it is possible to order restrictions on going out at certain times or prohibiting access to specific places within the period of attachment.

At present, the court has requested additional explanation from the prosecution on whether there is a need for Cho Doo-soon to apply special compliance requirements separately from the attachment of the location tracking electronic anklet.

Cho Doo-soon has been receiving treatment related to the prevention of sexual violence, but it is reported that the treatment effect was not significant as a result of interviews with relevant authorities such as probation offices.

The court will decide whether to apply it after receiving the review result from the prosecution.
