Shim Mo, a resident who is accused of assaulting the late Choi Hee-seok, a security guard in Gangbuk-gu, Seoul, was sentenced to imprisonment.

The 13th Division of the Criminal Agreement of the Seoul Northern District Court (Director Judge Heo Kyung-ho) sentenced Shim, who was charged with injury and other charges, to five years in prison.

Shim was handed over to trial on charges of imprisoning and beating Choi after arguing with the security guard Choi over a parking issue from April to May.

Choi killed himself on May 10 after leaving a will to the effect of being assaulted and threatened by Mr. Sim.

The court admitted all the prosecutions and convicted him, saying, "Sim's guilt is so bad that he needs strict punishment."
