With the spread of Corona 19, the'Corona SAT' was held on December 3, for the first time in history.

On the day of the SAT, we examined the quarantine regulations that test takers must follow and the scenery of the test room that has changed.

First, all candidates are required to wear a mask and enter the test room by 8:10 am.

If you don't wear a mask, you cannot enter the test room itself.

Education authorities recommend the use of quasi-drug masks (KF90, KF80, etc.) approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, and valve-type masks and mesh masks are not allowed.

On the day of the test, students who have symptoms of corona such as fever and self-isolation must wear a KF80 or higher mask.

In particular, it is recommended that all candidates bring an extra mask in case of contamination or loss.

You must wear a mask at all times in the exam room, and you can remove the mask during lunchtime and when the proctor verifies your identity.

Separate testing rooms are provided for confirmed patients, self-quarantine, and patients with symptoms.

Confirmation and self-isolation are determined by the quarantine authorities before the exam day.

If you undergo a fever test before entering the test room and have a fever of 37.5 degrees or higher or have a severe cough, etc., it is classified as a symptomatic and is tested in a separate test room.

During the test, test takers with fever and cough symptoms can also move to a separate test room to take the test.

Candidates whose body temperature is high the day before the test can take the test in a separate test room if they receive a statement from a doctor such as the general hospital director and submit it on the day of the test.

There were 2 test rooms in Gwangju (for 4 persons each) and 10 in Jeonnam, 5 Gwangju and 21 Jeonnam test rooms for self-quarantine, and 190 Gwangju and 138 Jeonnam test rooms for those with symptoms.

What is unique about this SAT is that partitions are installed on each desk.

This is because the education authorities judge that wearing a mask cannot completely block the transmission of infection through saliva droplets.

Partitions are installed only in front of the examinee in consideration of the use of the desk.

It is made of a non-transparent material to minimize light reflection.

It is designed to pass the test paper (A3 size) under the partition.

When entering the test room every test hour, it must be disinfected with hand sanitizer.

Also, you must bring a packed lunch.

People cannot eat together and must eat without moving from their seats.

When coughing or sneezing in the exam room, you must follow coughing etiquette by covering it with a tissue, handkerchief, or sleeve of clothes.
