There was a report that a party was held at a hotel in Seoul last Saturday, ignoring the quarantine rules.

There are more than 300 confirmed cases a day, and it was at the time when discussing the upgrade to the second stage of distance. At a foreign school event, about 150 people were caught drinking and dancing without wearing masks.

Reporter Ahn Hee-jae covered it.

A hotel in downtown Seoul last Saturday night.

People in suits dance and sing on stage.

You can hardly find anyone wearing a mask while having a conversation with a wine glass.

This is an event for recruiting foreign school sponsorship funds in which 150 people including faculty and parents participated.

[Speaker: We all sit together, dance, walk around and drink wine.

(Children) At school, they are strongly quarantined, but the teachers show them why they are playing like this...

Teachers in class act so irresponsibly.]

Just two days ago, social distancing was raised to 1.5 levels, and more than 300 confirmed cases were poured out every day.

The video was delivered to parents who did not attend via social media.

In response to protests from some parents, the school insisted, "Everyone was sitting wearing a mask except when eating and drinking," and insisting that the SNS video was'fake'.

They also sent an email to all parents, emphasizing that they "followed the quarantine guidelines."

As if trying to prevent the spread of the video, it discussed "the code of conduct established with the school at the time of admission" and "the act of violating the personal information law", and included a stern message such as "Ask before filming, think before sharing."

[Speaker: (This) is scary...

Without any explanation, driving them as if they infringed on privacy without permission. (It's ridiculous.)] In the

end, the educational authorities came out.

[Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education Officials: I once again asked for quarantine rules to be followed, and to avoid events like this in the future...

.]

The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education said that it will check to ensure that no other similar events occur as it is a special quarantine period ahead of the SAT.
