Justice Minister Choo Mi-ae has announced that a disciplinary committee will be held on the 2nd of next month to deliberate whether or not to punish Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol.

Minister Chu instructed the disciplinary committee to make a call by President Yoon Suk-yeol himself or a special lawyer.

It has been two days since I filed a disciplinary action against President Yun and took the job exclusion.

The disciplinary committee consists of seven members, including Minister Choo Mi-ae, Vice Minister of Justice Koki-young and two prosecutors nominated by Minister Chu, and a lawyer and law professor appointed by Minister Chu.

Since Minister Chu is a disciplinary claimant, he cannot be involved in the disciplinary deliberation, and President Yoon Seok-yeol can also file an appeal against Minister Chu Mi-ae during the resolution process.

It is observed that the procedure will be followed by the disciplinary committee's resolution of dismissing President Yoon and then requesting it to the appointee, President Moon Jae-in.

Prior to this, President Seok-yeol Yoon filed a request for suspension of execution of the official political action late last night (25th).

Attorneys Seok-woong Lee and Wan-gyu Lee have been appointed as special attorneys, and a lawsuit for canceling the suspension of work will also be filed today.

There is a growing movement of mass opposition within the prosecution.

This morning, six national high prosecutors, including Seoul High Prosecutor's Office, Cho Sang-cheol, asked in a statement to reconsider disciplinary claims and orders for suspension, saying, "We express deep concern whether we are trying to deprive us of our position by taking the command and supervision and judgment of the president into question."

27 executives in the middle of the Supreme Prosecutors' Office also made a statement saying, "The disciplinary claim and the exclusion of duties against the Prosecutor General are unlawful because they did not follow due process and did not have sufficient fact-finding process.

The Korean Bar Association also issued a statement and said, "We express our deep concern over the hasty exclusion of jobs and urge reconsideration."

Today, 10 prosecutors' offices across the country are discussing whether or not to hold a review meeting, so observations that this situation will lead to a'black egg' are also carefully raised.
