Seven soldiers, including a general, are currently on trial before the Rennes court for manslaughter after the death of a student from Saint-Cyr during a party in 2012. The prosecution requested, Thursday, between three months and two years of prison suspended for six miliaries and the release for the general. 

The prosecution requested Thursday from three months to two years in prison suspended against six soldiers as well as the release of General Francis Chanson, tried in Rennes for the manslaughter of a student officer, drowned in 2012 at the school of Saint -Cyr Coëtquidan (Morbihan).

"The transmission of traditions without effective control must sooner or later lead to the death of a pupil (...) The results of this tragic night could have been of a completely different magnitude", launched the prosecutor Philippe Astruc in his indictment.
