The 13th Criminal Division of the Seoul High Court sentenced Lee Myung-hee, the wife of the late Hanjin Group chairman Cho Yang-ho, who was handed over to trial today (19th) on charges of routine special injury, to two years in prison and three years probation.
The judge said, "It is very wrong for the victims under the influence of the defendant to be violently abused and assaulted," and said, "I hope that I will live the rest of my life with an attitude of being generous and generous to the socially weak."
From November 2011 to April 2018, Mr. Lee was handed over to trial on charges of screaming at nine people, including drivers and security guards, over 20 times, swearing or assaulting him.
