A taxi driver in a drunk vehicle staggering to the wheel, chasing close to 30km, succeeded in arrest.

Yesterday (16th) at about 10:20 pm, a car was running around the Gwangjin-gu area in Seoul, crossing the twisting lane.

Kim Gwang-min, a taxi driver who was passing by, saw a silver foreign car running as if the front right light went off and the wheel was broken, and he intuited that it was a drunk driving vehicle.

A police patrol car appeared when Mr. Kim pursued for about 20 kilometers, but the drunk vehicle escaped at a faster rate.

In the end, the police and Mr. Kim followed the drunk vehicle for another 10km, and caught the driver after surrounding it on an overpass in Bundang-gu, Gyeonggi-do.

A driver in his 50s caught on site was found to have been intoxicated with a license suspension level.

Kim, who lives in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, drove about 30 minutes to Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do, in the opposite direction to his original destination to chase after a drinking vehicle. Kim said, "If I miss this car, I don't think I can catch it, so I followed it until I hand it over to the police."

The police who received the report at the time for the righteous behavior of Mr. Kim, who had been chasing him over ten days at work, expressed his gratitude, saying, "Oh, you have suffered. Thank you."

The police plan to charge the driver for violation of the Road Traffic Law.
