The National Federation of Democratic Trade Unions (Democratic Trade Unions) plans to hold a nationwide simultaneous assembly including Seoul tomorrow (14th) on the weekend despite the government's request for restraint.

According to today's KCTU, the KCTU will hold the '50th Jeon Tae-il 50th Anniversary National Workers' Conference' as scheduled at 2 pm throughout the country.

The KCTU has held the National Workers' Congress every November to celebrate the spirit of Jeon Tae-il.

In the past, large-scale gatherings were held in downtown Seoul, but this year, due to concerns about the spread of Corona 19, we plan to hold small gatherings all over the country.

In Seoul, congregational assemblies are held sporadically at 25 locations, including Seoul Station, Dongdo Democratic Party, Mapo Station, Gongdeok Station, and Daebang Station.

The number of participants per assembly will not exceed 100.

Currently, more than 100 people are banned in Seoul.

In the provinces, the KCTU holds assemblies in 13 locations, including the city hall, the Democratic Party's city and province, and the railway station plaza.

Depending on the local city or province, more than 100 people can meet, and a large meeting of 1,000 people or more can be held.

The KCTU expects that 15,000 members will participate in both Seoul and local assemblies.

The KCTU is planning to take quarantine measures at this rally to prevent the spread of Corona 19, such as checking for fever, wearing a mask, and keeping an individual distance of 2 meters or more.

The KCTU emphasized that "the assembly will be conducted in accordance with the KCTU's quarantine guidelines, which are strengthened rather than the government's quarantine guidelines."

Earlier, the government requested the KCTU to reconsider or minimize the national workers' conference today due to concerns about the spread of Corona 19.
