A truck driver who caused a traffic accident by not properly loading the cargo on the highway was handed over to the prosecution.



Today (9th), according to the Chungbuk Provincial Police Agency and Gyeonggi Anseong Police Station, A (58), a freight car driver, applied the charges against the obligatory violation of the Traffic Accident Handling Act to prevent the fall of loads, and sent it to the prosecution with the opinion of the prosecution without detention.



On September 18, Mr. A was accused of injuring the driver by hitting the opposite car when the'mast pin', a part, fell due to the tower crane being transported near the Iljuk IC on the Jungbu Expressway in Anseong-si, Gyeonggi-do.



In an accident, the driver of the car was seriously injured and taken to the hospital.



The police secured the driver's identity based on the 20cm long and 6cm diameter mast pin found at the scene of the accident and the black box of the vehicle passing through the scene at the time.



It is known that Mr. A did not even notice that the mast pin fell.



A police official said, "From the beginning of loading the cargo, it should have been tightly covered with a cover or tied tightly with strings."
